What is Microsoft Power Platform?
A suite of low-code tools — Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages, Copilot Studio and Dataverse — for building apps, automating workflows, analysing data and creating AI agents on top of Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365 and hundreds of other systems. In practice it is how most organisations now replace the spreadsheet, the Access database and the email approval chain.
How long does a typical Power Apps project take?
A focused departmental app usually ships in two to six weeks. Larger programmes run in phases with a working release every sprint, so value lands early rather than at the end. We will give you a date range in the first workshop, not after a two-month discovery.
How much does Power Apps licensing cost?
Power Apps is licensed per app or per user, and a surprising number of scenarios are already covered by the Microsoft 365 licences you own — as long as the app stays on standard connectors such as SharePoint and Dataverse for Teams. Premium connectors, Dataverse and AI features add cost. Every engagement starts with a licence review so you build on what you have already paid for.
Can you fix or improve an app we built ourselves?
Yes, and it is a large share of our work. Citizen-developed apps usually work until they do not: performance falls over at 2,000 rows, the data sits in a SharePoint list that should be Dataverse, there is no ALM, and one person owns everything. We harden the app, migrate the data model where it makes sense, and hand it back supportable.
What happens when the person who built our app leaves?
